Terms of Service

Last updated: October 9, 2026

The short version: CertsDue helps you track your Staff Members’ Credentials. You’re responsible for what you upload and for meeting the rules that apply to your business. AI can misread a card, so you confirm every date. CertsDue is a tracking tool, not a compliance guarantee. You can cancel anytime.

1. Who we are

CertsDue (“we,” “us”) is operated by Aaron Rogers, a sole proprietor in Illinois. You can reach us at hello@certsdue.com.

These terms apply to certsdue.com and the CertsDue service. By paying for, signing up for, or using CertsDue, you agree to them. If you use CertsDue on behalf of a business, you confirm that you’re allowed to accept these terms for it.

2. The service

CertsDue lets Managers keep a roster of Staff Members, upload photos or PDFs of their Credentials, see which Credentials are expired or expiring, receive email reminders, give each Staff Member a personal upload link, and export reports. We may improve or change features over time. If we remove a core feature you pay for, we’ll tell you ahead of time.

3. Early Access and Founding Members

4. Plans, billing, and cancellation

5. Your responsibilities

6. AI card reading and reminders

CertsDue uses AI to read Credential types and expiry dates from images. AI can misread a card, so a Manager confirms each date before it’s saved, and you’re responsible for the dates you confirm. Reminder emails depend on email delivery, which we don’t fully control. Please don’t rely on CertsDue as your only way of tracking critical deadlines.

7. Not legal or compliance advice

CertsDue is a tracking tool. It doesn’t tell you which Credentials your Staff Members need, and using it doesn’t make your business compliant with any law, regulation, license condition, or contract. You’re responsible for knowing and meeting the requirements that apply to you.

8. Your data

You own the data you put into CertsDue. You give us permission to store, process, and display it only as needed to provide and support the service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can export your reports anytime while your account is active.

9. Availability and suspension

We work to keep CertsDue running smoothly, but we can’t promise it will always be available or error-free. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or other customers at risk. When we can, we’ll warn you first.

10. Disclaimers

CertsDue is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages; for lost profits, revenue, or data; or for fines, penalties, or lost work resulting from an expired Credential. Our total liability for any claim relating to CertsDue is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

12. Ending these terms

You can stop using CertsDue and cancel at any time. We can close an account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms. If we ever stop offering CertsDue, we’ll give reasonable notice and refund any prepaid time you haven’t used.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Illinois, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For significant changes, we’ll email account holders at least 14 days before the change takes effect. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
